Hello everyone, I hope you are all well and happy.
The EARC had our annual chili supper for our regular February meeting and there was plenty of food for everyone. We had 29 members and guests in attendance. As the president, I felt it was my obligation to try a sampling of each pot that was prepared. I also did my best with the dessert selection. Ron/WD5HUT got my vote for the hottest (he called it lip burning) chili and couldn’t help but laugh at those that kept going back for more punishment. His was very good however, a certain ham I know (cough, KF5DLP cough, cough) made the tastiest. If you missed out I’m really sorry but, there is always next year.

Actually I am watching the closing ceremony as I write this. It was a successful two weeks for the U.S. and a successful hosting for the Canadians. Al Gore struck and took away their winter weather (and sent it down here) but everyone coped.

What in the world are those crazy Radio Active people up to now? Last Month we met at the regularly scheduled Radio Active (RA) night time and place: Third Thursday, 7pm, Red Cross. Tim Mcanally gave an excellent presentation and demo on High Speed Multi Media Mesh Networking (HS-MM Mesh).
