St. Mary's as a possible site? At least Temp
What about putting this repeater on St. Mary's? I know it's not the best site but consider the following.
1) We need to keep a presence there or we will definitely forfeit the site
a) As Key personnel change out, the company will forget whatever services we've provided in the past
b) Other's may ask for and even be willing to pay for space on their tower.
2) We now have two members on staff at St Mary’s
a) One is likely fairly well connected politically... or will be
b) The other us on the engineering staff and fully capable of maintaining a repeater.
3) Currently it’s gathering dust. We haven't any current plans or money allocated to replace the hard-line or antenna. Why let it site idle when we have a site.
4) The site is very accessible and it's always easy to get someone(s) to go up and wrestle hardware. If we decide to move later it’s not a big deal.
