The purpose of Q signs---all
The purpose of Q signs---all 50 or more of them---is to expedite Morse Code/CW communication. "QSL" means "this is to confirm receipt"---of your text, your message, or this particular direct two-way contact (QSO.) Using voice, you should just say what you mean. Bill/K5ECI
